Shilpa Dua Joins NIIT Limited as Chief Human Resources Officer

NIIT Limited has announced the appointment of Shilpa Dua as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective October 30, 2025.

Bringing over 18 years of extensive HR leadership experience, Shilpa is set to play a key role in advancing NIIT’s people strategy and driving organizational excellence.

Her career spans multiple industries, including financial services, retail, consumer goods, and healthcare—making her a well-rounded leader equipped to shape the company’s talent agenda.

A Proven HR Leader with Cross-Industry Expertise

Before joining NIIT, Shilpa worked as Corporate Vice President and Head HR – Axis Partnership at Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, where she led transformative initiatives in employee engagement, culture development, and organizational growth.

Her previous experience includes working as General Manager – HR at Walmart India Private Limited, where she focused on building scalable people practices, and holding multiple leadership positions at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., where she played a pivotal role in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organization development.

Shilpa began her professional journey with GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, spending more than six years driving strategic HR programs focused on leadership development, capability enhancement, and talent management.

Her strong background in culture transformation, digital HR enablement, and leadership capability acceleration aligns perfectly with NIIT’s vision for future-ready workforce development.
