The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has initiated a major recruitment drive to fill 110 Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) positions across various departments.

The recruitment drive, announced on October 31, 2025, invites applications for senior-level roles in seven distinct streams.
These include:
- General Stream: 56 positions
- Information Technology: 22 positions
- Legal: 20 positions
- Research: 4 positions
- Official Language: 3 positions
- Engineering (Civil): 3 positions
- Engineering (Electrical): 2 positions
The online application process began on November 1, 2025, and will remain open until November 28, 2025.

SEBI Hiring: Eligibility and Selection Process
Candidates applying for the various streams must meet specific educational qualifications:
- General: Master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, or a Bachelor’s degree in Law or Engineering
- Legal: Bachelor’s degree in Law
- IT: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/IT/Computer Science) or a postgraduate qualification in Computer Science
- Research: Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields
- Official Language: Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the bachelor’s level
- Engineering (Civil/Electrical): Bachelor’s degree in the respective engineering discipline
The selection process includes an online examination followed by an interview.
The exam will test candidates on reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, and professional knowledge relevant to the stream applied for.
