VSSC (ISRO) Internships for April–June 2026; Apply by Feb 15

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), part of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has shared details of its internships for the academic session from 1 April to 30 June 2026.

The program is open to eligible science and technology students from recognized universities who want hands-on work experience in India’s space research sector.

About VSSC Internships

The internships are meant for students who are studying, or have completed, degrees in fields linked to ISRO’s work. These include aerospace, mechanical, electronics and communication, computer science, engineering physics, materials science, physics, and similar areas.

Applicants must be Indian citizens and must have at least 60 percent marks overall, or a CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale.

The internship will run from 1 April to 30 June 2026. It is part of VSSC’s short-term training plan for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Selected interns will work on current technical projects under the guidance of VSSC scientists and engineers.

Interns must work on-site at the VSSC campus in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The duration may be between three and six weeks, based on the project and availability. The internship is unpaid, and students must arrange their own travel and stay.

How to Apply

  • Get the Application Form: Download the form from the VSSC HRDD portal, fill it out fully, and get approval from your Head of Department or Principal.
  • Add Required Documents: Include mark sheets, a brief resume, details of technical skills, project work, and any other required certificates.
  • Submit on Time: Send the completed form and documents by scanned email or by post to the Head of HRDD, VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram, before 15 February 2026.
  • Selection Notice: VSSC will contact selected candidates by email with further instructions before the start date.

These VSSC (ISRO) Internships offer students a chance to gain real work experience at an organization that plays a key role in India’s space missions. Since seats are limited and competition is strong, students should prepare early and follow all instructions carefully.
