Kisna Diamond and Gold Jewellery, the flagship retail brand of the Hari Krishna Group, has announced a massive recruitment drive to add 1,200 employees during the 2025-26 fiscal year (FY26).

This expansion follows a strong growth period in FY25, where the company successfully onboarded 1,000 professionals, signaling its commitment to becoming a dominant force in India’s organized jewelry market.

Fueling Omnichannel and Retail Growth

The hiring surge is strategically designed to support Kisna’s aggressive “Har Ghar Kisna” vision.

The brand, which recently surpassed the 125-exclusive-showroom milestone, is focusing on deepening its penetration into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities while enhancing its digital presence.

Managing Director Parag Shah noted that the strategy specifically targets the evolving preferences of Gen Z and modern women.

To meet this demand, Kisna is introducing “new-age” roles, including AI-assisted jewelry designers, data analysts, influencer specialists, and digital stylists.

These roles aim to bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern, data-driven consumer engagement.

Kisna Diamond Strengthening Leadership and Diverse Workforce

Beyond frontline retail staff, the recruitment plan includes the addition of at least 10 senior leadership roles to guide the brand’s next growth phase.

Diversity remains a core pillar of this expansion; the company currently employs over 800 women across corporate and retail functions.

Hari Krishna Group Founder and Managing Director, Ghanshyam Dholakia, emphasized that investing in people is essential to maintaining the trust and craftsmanship that define the brand.

“This hiring milestone reflects our commitment to making fine diamond and gold jewelry accessible to every Indian household,” Ghanshyam stated.

The new workforce will complement the company’s existing manufacturing powerhouse of over 1,700 employees based at its Surat facility.

Strategic Expansion for 2026

The 1,200 new hires will facilitate the launch of more exclusive showrooms and experimental retail formats.

Kisna has already established a presence in over 28 states with 3,000 shop-in-shop outlets.

The brand’s FY26 roadmap now includes a focused push into markets like Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and the Northeast.

By scaling its human capital alongside its physical footprint, Kisna aims to ensure a consistent, luxury-tier customer experience across all touchpoints.
