EBG Inaugurates 400-Seater ‘Powerhouse,’ Creating 350 Jobs

EBG Group, a multi-sector conglomerate spanning wellness, mobility, technology, and realty, has significantly ramped up its commitment to India, officially designating Hyderabad as its global headquarters with the inauguration of the state-of-the-art ‘EBG Powerhouse.’
The new 400-seater centre, spread across 22,000 sq. ft, will serve as the group’s global execution engine room, backed by a planned investment of $7 million over the next two years.
The Powerhouse is set to create immediate employment opportunities by recruiting 350 new hires in Hyderabad.
Furthermore, the company anticipates generating hundreds of indirect jobs across its franchise networks, supply chains, and partner-led ecosystems worldwide.
EBG Global Execution Engine and Talent Magnet
The primary function of the EBG Powerhouse is to accelerate the cycle from concept to market, acting as a “unified control tower” for global operations.
This commitment to Hyderabad is not just about cost arbitrage; Dr. Irfan Khan, Chairman and Founder of EBG Group, stated that Hyderabad’s “deep talent pool, thriving tech/startup ecosystem, and strong connectivity” made it the ideal base for the group’s global expansion plans.
EBG Group, which currently has a workforce of 311 employees, plans to scale its global employee strength to 3,000 within the next year.
The initial 350 hires in Hyderabad will anchor core functions, including brand building, franchise development, digital content creation, supply-chain coordination, and investor/partner relations.
Integrated ‘Execution Studios’ for Multi-Sector Growth
The facility itself is purpose-built for high-velocity innovation and cross-functional synergy, reflecting EBG’s diverse portfolio which includes sectors like EV, F&B, hospitality, and education.
What sets the centre apart is its suite of integrated ‘execution studios’ and multi-brand work zones.
The Powerhouse features advanced facilities such as:
- Digital and Content Production Labs: Including podcast and video studios.
- AI/Automation Labs: Dedicated spaces for developing new technologies.
- VC-Grade Hybrid Suites and Collaboration Rooms: Designed to support global training, partner closings, and investor demo days across various time zones.
The overall design is meant to transform EBG’s Hyderabad presence into a “high-velocity operating system where ideas can be conceived in the morning, prototyped by evening, and scaled within weeks.”
The group aims to support over 5,000 startups in emerging markets and accelerate sustainable innovation worldwide, leveraging the capabilities established at this new headquarters.
