RSPL Group Sets New Standards with Women-Led Workforce in Uttar Pradesh

RSPL Group has successfully transformed its Ghadi Soaps and Detergent facility in Chaubepur, Uttar Pradesh, into a powerhouse of women-led production.
As of February 2026, the plant has become a benchmark for gender inclusion, moving hundreds of women from the unorganized sector into formal employment.
Breaking Barriers in Manufacturing
Under the leadership of Kushalta Gyanchandani, the Chaubepur unit has spent the last ten months scaling its female workforce.
The initiative focuses on bridging the “economic inclusion gap” by providing women from nearby villages with secure, formal jobs.
Unlike the informal work many were previously accustomed to, these roles come with fixed working hours, statutory benefits, and comprehensive protection under labor laws.
This structured environment allows employees to balance their financial contributions with family responsibilities.
RSPL Group Scaling Productivity Through Inclusion
The shift to a women-led model has yielded measurable gains in operational efficiency. The plant’s current output is impressive:
- Detergent Division: 360 Metric Tonnes (MT) per day.
- Cake Division: 173 Metric Tonnes (MT) per day.
By integrating smart technology and innovative processes designed for operational ease, RSPL has ensured that the workforce can manage high-volume production with precision.
Company leadership credits this success to the strong sense of ownership and disciplined time management displayed by the female staff.
A Blueprint for Regional Transformation
This initiative aligns with the broader “Telangana Rising 2047” and similar national visions for industrial self-reliance.
By moving beyond simple CSR and treating women’s empowerment as a core business strategy, RSPL is advancing technical skilling and digital literacy in rural Uttar Pradesh.
Kushalta Gyanchandani noted that the vision was to create a workplace where women feel comfortable, confident, and empowered.
This initiative ultimately contributes to long-term societal change.
The RSPL Group employs over 25,000 people globally. It plans to use the Chaubepur model as a scalable blueprint for its 21 other detergent units across India.
