Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Cisco have officially announced the launch of a new Center of Excellence (CoE) for Autonomous Enterprise Operations.

Based at the TCS Synergy Park Campus in Hyderabad, this facility marks a significant expansion of a strategic partnership that has spanned over two decades.

The CoE is designed to help global organizations transition from traditional, rule-based automation to intelligent, self-governing IT environments.

The Shift to “Zero-Touch” Operations

The primary objective of the CoE is to enable “Zero-touch” operations, which minimize manual intervention in complex IT landscapes.

By leveraging an “Agentic AI mesh,” the platform allows systems to sense behavioral states in real time, automate workflows through conversational AI, and orchestrate self-healing frameworks.

This proactive approach aims to eliminate operational friction and shift the focus from simple IT performance metrics to tangible business outcomes.

The center will operate as an experience hub, guiding customers through the “TCS Five-Level Services Autonomy Model.”

This framework helps enterprises gradually increase their operational maturity, moving toward a state where systems can understand context and take autonomous actions without human oversight.

A Powerful Technology Stack

The CoE integrates high-end products from both companies to create a “mosaic” of advanced services. Key technologies powering the hub include:

  • Cisco AppDynamics & Splunk: Providing deep observability and real-time data insights.
  • TCS ignio™ & Cognix™: Driving AI-led transformation and cognitive business operations.

These tools work in concert to provide real-time visibility and automated problem-solving across various industry verticals.

TCS and Cisco Strengthening Global AI Leadership

V. Rajanna, President of Technology, Software, and Services at TCS, described the CoE as a co-innovation platform.

This hub will help businesses embrace self-learning and self-governing capabilities.

Cisco Senior Vice President Tim Coogan stated that the collaboration empowers mutual customers to achieve unprecedented business agility.

This is achieved by combining Cisco’s AI-driven technology with TCS’s industry expertise.

The launch aligns with the broader vision of both companies to build “perpetually adaptive” enterprises.

As businesses face increasingly complex digital ecosystems, this CoE provides a scalable blueprint for building resilient, AI-first infrastructure.

This infrastructure can then evolve alongside changing market demands.
