Nashik, India: More serious details have come out in the TCS harassment case at the Nashik office. The new claims suggest a pattern of pressure, threats, and attempts to push a woman to change her religion.

Police sources say the main accused, Nida Khan, who worked as a process associate, has been charged with hurting religious feelings and trying to force the survivor to adopt a different faith.

Since the survivor belongs to a Scheduled Caste group, police have also applied sections of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Claims of Religious Pressure and Seized Items

Investigators say Khan gave the survivor a burqa and religious books, which they believe were meant to influence her. Police have taken these items as evidence and are checking where they came from.

Other claims include:

  • Adding religious apps to the survivor’s phone
  • Sending religious messages through social media
  • Pressuring her to change her name to “Haniya”
  • Taking away her education papers

Police also suspect that some contacts in Malegaon may have helped in carrying out parts of the plan.

Malaysia Job Offer and False Marriage Promise

The case has also revealed a possible plan to send the survivor to Malaysia with the promise of a job. This was said to involve a man named Imran.

In another part of the TCS Nashik Case, Khan’s brother, Danish Sheikh, who has been arrested, is accused of having a physical relationship with the survivor by promising marriage, even though he was already married. When the survivor found out, she was reportedly offered the overseas job as a way to distract her.

Another accused, Tausif Bilal Attar, faces charges of molestation and threats. Police say he forced the survivor into sexual acts by warning he would leak private details.

More Complaints and Ongoing Probe

So far, eight cases have been filed after seven women and one man came forward. Police think more people may still speak up.

Seven accused are in custody, while Nida Khan is still missing. A court refused her request for temporary protection from arrest, even though she said she is pregnant.

Police are trying to find her phone for digital proof and are also checking if there were financial links or outside support in the case.

Company Action

TCS has suspended the employees linked to the case. The company has not yet shared a full public statement.
