Microsoft Launches ‘Elevate Emerging Tech’ Internship for March 2026 Batch

Edunet Foundation has announced the launch of the Microsoft Elevate Emerging Tech Internship on AI, ML, Azure, and Development & Automation for the March 2026 batch.

The nationwide virtual program is designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills in high-growth technology domains and enhance their employability in the digital economy.

Industry-Aligned Learning Experience

The internship is structured as a four-week, industry-aligned program with an overall six-week engagement period beginning immediately.

It focuses on core areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Cloud Computing through Microsoft Azure, Application Development, and Process Automation.

Participants will gain exposure to conceptual frameworks as well as practical implementation through hands-on labs, guided exercises, and real-world use cases.

The program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by introducing students to modern tools, workflows, and problem-solving approaches used in technology-driven organizations.

Project-Based Assessment and Certification

A key component of the internship is project-based learning. Students will complete weekly assignments and develop a capstone project under the mentorship of experienced trainers. Completion criteria include maintaining attendance, finishing mandatory courses, and submitting the final project.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive joint completion certificates from Microsoft and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), strengthening their professional credentials. The internship does not offer a stipend.

Eligibility and Application Details

The program is open to students from any academic background or specialization, provided they are available for the full six-week duration and demonstrate relevant interest and skills.

With 5,000 openings across India, the initiative offers broad access to emerging technology training.

Interested candidates can apply through AICTE Internship portal. The last date to apply for the March 2026 batch is March 2, 2026.
