Newgen Software to hire around 1000 employees in this year

Newgen Software, a digital automation company has announced its report on Q1 of FY 2021-22, the company has revealed a consolidated net profit rises 27.15% in the March 2021 quarter.

Commenting on the report, SJ Raj, Senior Vice President- HR Operations, Newgen Software, said “We are having an overall staff strength of over 3,000 employees, virtually onboarded close to 750 employees in 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic, and the company is further planning to expand workforce with around 1,000 new hires this year.”

“We are establishing a hybrid hiring process that is less about technical or operational changes and more about making it a part of the company’s culture.” SJ Raj added.

In the first quarter ended on March 2021, the company’s sales rise 4.79% to Rs 199.98 crore. Net profit of Newgen Software Technologies rose 27.15% to Rs 52.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 41.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.
