US-based data science and AI solutions provider Tredence has officially inaugurated its new state-of-the-art Delivery and Innovation Centre in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad.

This 20,000 sq. ft. facility marks a major milestone in the company’s India expansion, with plans to invest approximately ₹300 crore and grow its local workforce to over 2,200 employees by 2027.

Tredence Aggressive Hiring Roadmap for 2026-2027

Currently employing roughly 400 professionals in Telangana, Tredence is embarking on one of the most ambitious talent acquisition drives in the region’s AI sector.

The company revealed a phased recruitment strategy that includes adding 700 new roles in 2026, followed by an additional 1,100 positions in 2027.

The hiring push will target high-value roles in data science, data engineering, advanced analytics, and generative AI.

By expanding its headcount nearly fivefold, Tredence aims to build a “center of gravity” for global enterprise AI delivery, supporting clients across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Focus on the “Last Mile” of AI Adoption

The Hyderabad hub is specifically designed to solve the “last mile” challenge of AI.

This refers to the gap between developing a model and successfully deploying it into business workflows.

The center will focus on creating industry-specific solutions for retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), healthcare, and life sciences.

Sumit Mehra, Co-founder and CTO of Tredence, highlighted Hyderabad’s unique ecosystem as a primary factor for the investment.

He noted that the city’s dense pool of technical talent and its status as a global pharmaceutical hub provide an ideal bedrock.

These factors allow for scaling complex, domain-specific AI applications.

Strategic Alignment with ‘Telangana Rising 2047’

The facility was inaugurated in the presence of state officials, including D. Sridhar Babu, Telangana’s Minister for IT, Industries, and Commerce.

The Minister emphasized that Tredence’s commitment aligns with the “Telangana Rising 2047” vision.

This vision seeks to transform the state into a global leader for high-tech innovation.

Tredence joins a growing list of global capability centers choosing Hyderabad over traditional tech hubs.

This expansion further solidifies the city’s reputation as India’s fastest-growing destination for artificial intelligence and data engineering.
