Dr. Santrupt is currently the National Spokesperson of the Biju Janata Dal. His career shows a mix of HR knowledge, business leadership, and public service. His move into Parliament highlights how HR leaders can contribute beyond companies and take part in building the nation.

He spent close to three decades with the Aditya Birla Group, where he held key roles. As Global Director – Human Resources, he helped build strong people practices across global operations and showed how HR can support business growth. He later became CEO of the Chemicals Business, showing that HR leaders can step into core business roles.

He also worked at Birla Carbon, where he led the Carbon Black Business as CEO and drove business growth. Earlier in his career, he worked at Hindustan Unilever Limited and also taught at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. These roles helped build his strong base in industrial relations and people management. He earned his doctorate from Aston Business School.
