According to the Randstad Employer Brand Research (REBR) 2025, Tata Group, Google India, and Infosys have been named the country’s top three most attractive employer brands.

The study, based on insights from over 170,000 respondents across 34 markets—including more than 3,500 in India—reflects evolving expectations around workplace culture, compensation, and career growth.

Tata Group Tops the List with Strong EVP Performance

Tata Group secured the top position by scoring exceptionally well on financial health, career progression opportunities, and corporate reputation—the three most influential Employee Value Proposition (EVP) drivers identified in the survey.

The conglomerate’s consistent performance across sectors and its legacy of trust have helped it maintain a strong employer brand.

Google India climbed the rankings this year to take the second spot, followed by Infosys in third place.

Both companies were recognized for their focus on innovation, inclusive work environments, and opportunities for professional development.

State Bank of India’s entry into the top 10 marks a significant milestone, making it the only Indian multinational public sector bank to be featured.

Rising Job-Switching Intent Among Younger Talent

The report reveals that 47% of Indian employees plan to switch jobs in the first half of 2025.

This trend is particularly strong among Gen Z (51%) and Millennials (50%), who are actively seeking roles that offer purpose, growth, and flexibility.

The findings suggest that employers must go beyond transactional benefits and build cultures rooted in trust, transparency, and shared purpose.

AI Adoption and Reskilling Priorities

AI usage is becoming increasingly common in Indian workplaces, with 61% of employees now using it regularly.

Millennials are the most active users, showing a 13% increase over the previous year.

Despite concerns about job displacement, optimism around AI’s potential remains high, with 38% of employees reporting a significant impact on their work.

Reskilling has also emerged as a top priority. Nine out of ten workers value employers that offer upskilling opportunities, especially among highly educated professionals.

This reflects a growing demand for continuous learning and adaptability in a skills-based economy.

EVP Gaps and Employer Challenges

Indian employers excel in reputation and financial health, but they still fall short in providing work-life balance and attractive salary and benefits, according to the survey.

These gaps present opportunities for organizations to realign their EVP strategies and better meet employee expectations.

Viswanath P S, MD & CEO of Randstad India, emphasized that “today’s workforce is no longer satisfied with conventional jobs; they’re seeking equity, purpose, meaningful growth, and work-life harmony.”

He added that the REBR 2025 report should serve as a strategic guide for employers aiming to become true talent magnets.
