The announcement comes ahead of OpenAI’s first-ever DevDay Exchange event in India, scheduled to take place in Bengaluru on the same day.

What Is ChatGPT Go?

ChatGPT Go is OpenAI’s mid-tier subscription plan designed to offer more advanced features than the free version, while remaining affordable for everyday users.

Launched in India in August 2025, the plan was developed in response to user feedback requesting broader access to premium tools at a lower cost.
