Accenture Appoints Vik Malhotra as Senior MD, Head- Total Rewards

Accenture appoints Vik Malhotra as Senior Managing Director and Head – Total Rewards. He is based in Washington, D.C., and started the role in March 2026.

In this new role, Vik will lead the company’s global rewards work. This includes pay, benefits, and performance systems. His job is to make sure employee offers match business goals and stay competitive in the market.

He will also work on better reward design, improve employee experience, and keep pay fair and tied to performance across regions.

Extensive Experience

With over 20 years of experience, before joining Accenture, Vik worked at Mondelēz International as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Total Rewards, Performance & People Insights. During his four years there, he helped update reward programs and used data to support company change.

Earlier, he held senior roles at Wells Fargo and Hilton. At Hilton, he spent more than seven years in HR leadership roles, including Senior Vice President for Global Total Rewards. He also worked at Capital One and The Home Depot, where he focused on executive pay and global benefits.

Vik started his career with companies such as Aimco, Darden Restaurants, Marriott International, and Walt Disney World.

Vik Malhotra earned an MBA in Corporate Finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in 2007. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2001.
