American Express Appoints Meghesh Nandi as Director – C&B

American Express has appointed Meghesh Nandi as Director – Compensation & Benefits for India, effective March 2026, based in Gurugram.

In his new role at American Express, he will focus on designing and delivering compensation and benefits frameworks that align with the organization’s total rewards strategy.

Extensive Experience and Background

Meghesh joins from Deloitte, where he worked for more than six years. Most recently, he was a Consulting Director. In that role, he handled projects in total rewards, performance management, organization design, workforce data, and financial wellness. Before that, he worked as an Associate Director and Manager, supporting HR services and variable pay programs for clients.

He has rich experience in HR, with strong skills in pay strategy, HR change programs, and employee lifecycle work. Before Deloitte, he worked at Aon Hewitt as a Consultant, focusing on HR services and rewards advisory. He also worked at Nucleus Software as Compensation and Benefits Manager, where he managed payroll and rewards.

Earlier, he was with Infosys as an Associate Lead HR Delivery. There, he helped build HR shared services and managed over 30 employee lifecycle processes across EMEA, North America, and India. He began his career at Ascent Forex Consultants, working on payroll and compliance.

Meghesh holds a PGDM in Human Resources from IMI Delhi and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Industrial Relations from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
