Marsh Risk Appoints Sreeja Nair as Vice President – HR

Marsh Risk, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, has promoted Sreeja Nair to Vice President – Human Resources.

In her new role, she will lead a major HR strategy focused on talent growth, leadership development, and improving employee experience across the company.

Extensive Experience

Sreeja has been with Marsh India since 2022. She last worked as Assistant Vice President – HR. During this time, she helped improve HR systems, supported business expansion, and set up people practices that can grow with the company. Her promotion shows the company’s focus on developing talent from within and preparing future HR leaders.

Before joining Marsh, Sreeja worked for over eight years at Startek. There, she handled several HR roles with growing responsibility. She helped roll out leadership programs, improve succession planning, and boost employee engagement. She also worked on employee relations, internal job moves, and retention efforts, including new ideas like internal storytelling platforms.

Over the years, Sreeja has built strong skills in linking HR plans with business goals while supporting an inclusive and high-performing work culture. She has also managed large HR operations and worked closely with different teams across the company.

She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from SIES College of Management Studies and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Pillai Institute of Information Technology.
