Dassault Systemes Appoints Bijuraj Balakrishnan as CEO of DSGS

After 24 years with Dassault Systèmes, Bijuraj Balakrishnan has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Dassault Systemes Global Services (DSGS), effective February 2026.

Based in Pune, he will lead the company’s growth plans, service delivery standards, and expansion of digital engineering and PLM services across global markets. As CEO, he will strengthen DSGS’s position as a key global services arm of Dassault Systèmes.

Extensive Experience and Background

At Dassault Systèmes, he has held several leadership roles across services, delivery management, and people strategy. Most recently, he served as India Director – People & Organization Partner (2023–2026). In this role, he aligned talent plans with business goals and strengthened team capabilities.

Earlier, he was Services Director (2018–2023), where he led large programs and key client accounts. From 2015 to 2018, he served as PLM Practice Head, leading one of the company’s largest practices in India.

He managed a team of over 200 professionals and drove service bookings, revenue growth, better resource use, and the rollout of structured service models. He also worked closely with brands, R&D teams, industry groups, regions, and system integrators to support major 3DEXPERIENCE platform rollouts.

Over the years, Bijuraj has managed complex global projects across automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, high-tech, and consumer goods industries. He helped set up delivery centers and cloud-based test centers for next-generation PLM and CAD solutions. He also led key programs focused on improving customer outcomes and operational performance.

He began his career as a Software Engineer at Pentasoft Technologies Ltd. in Chennai, where he worked on software localization and quality assurance projects in Switzerland.

Bijuraj holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology and completed the GLOW – Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership at INSEAD.
