Flipkart Appoints Yogita Shanbhag as Vice President – HR

Flipkart, a leading e-commerce company in India, has appointed Yogita Shanbhag as Vice President – Human Resources.

In her new role, she will oversee the company’s people and culture agenda. Her focus will be on building strong teams, supporting leadership growth, and creating a positive work environment for employees across the organization.

Extensive Experience

Yogita has more than 20 years of experience in human resources. Her background covers people strategy, business partnering, leadership development, and employer branding.

Before joining Flipkart, she spent close to 10 years at Juniper Networks. Most recently, she was HR Head for Juniper Networks India. Based in Bengaluru, she led HR for the India business, with a strong focus on employee engagement, employer value proposition, and leadership capability.

Earlier, Yogita spent over a decade at Wipro Technologies. As HR Business Partner for the CTO and service functions, she built a strong reputation as a trusted HR leader. Her work supported recruitment, talent management, compensation, and people processes, while also helping teams achieve high engagement scores.

She began her career at TNT India as an HR generalist, where she built a solid base in core HR operations.

Yogita holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from PES Institute of Technology (PESIT), where she was a gold medalist. She is also an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

At Flipkart, she will work on building a workforce that is ready for business needs ahead. She will also focus on developing leadership talent and improving employee experience and workplace culture.
