Haldiram Snacks Food Appoints Annu Gupta as CEO – International Business

Haldiram Snacks Food Pvt. Ltd. has announced the appointment of Annu Gupta as Chief Executive Officer – International Business.

Based in Dubai, he will lead the company’s global growth strategy, strengthening its footprint across key international markets. He is expected to play a key role in accelerating Haldiram’s international ambitions and reinforcing its position as a leading global Indian food brand.

Extensive Experience

Annu brings nearly three decades of experience in the FMCG sector, with deep expertise in building and scaling international businesses.

He joins Haldiram after a successful 13-year stint at Britannia Industries Limited, where he most recently served as CEO – International Business. In that role, he drove operations across more than 80 markets spanning the Middle East, Africa, North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

Under his leadership, Britannia’s international revenues grew significantly, with profits expanding at twice the pace of revenues. He led the launch of local manufacturing units in Egypt, Kenya, and Nepal, strengthening market leadership and expanding the company’s presence in competitive regions. The brand also secured a Top 3 biscuit position in the UAE and earned the ET Best Brand UAE recognition during her tenure.

Annu has previously held senior roles at Tropical General Investments Group, IFFCO Group, Dabur India Limited, Colgate-Palmolive, Asian Paints, and Unilever.
