HCCB Appoints CHRO, CCO, Supply Chain Head and Others

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), a leading player in India’s FMCG sector, has announced a major strategic overhaul of its top-tier leadership.

On February 4, 2026, the company unveiled several high-profile appointments across supply chain, commercial, and human resources functions, signaling a decisive move to bolster its “Viksit Bharat” growth ambitions and execution rigor.

Hemant Rupani, CEO of HCCB, emphasized that these appointments are critical to “deepening organizational capability” and enabling scale across the value chain.

As the bottling giant serves millions, these leaders will navigate a dynamic consumer landscape and drive long-term, sustainable value.

Strengthening the Integrated Supply Chain

Leading the charge is Avinash Kant Kumar, appointed as the Head of Integrated Supply Chain.

Avinash brings over 30 years of experience, including a recent stint as President at Jubilant Foodworks and roles at P&G and Reliance Retail.

He now scales HCCB’s manufacturing-to-market resilience.

His expertise will modernize HCCB’s 14 manufacturing facilities to meet rising demand in South and West India.

Commercial Strategy and Transformation

The commercial vertical sees a dual-leadership boostVinay Nair, a Coca-Cola veteran with 25 years of experience, steps in as Chief Commercial Officer.

Vinay is credited with the rapid expansion of Costa Coffee in India. He will now drive the commercial strategy across HCCB’s network of 20 lakh retailers.

Supporting this is Girish Sivaraman, who returns to the firm as Vice President – Commercial Transformation.

Girish will focus on “Go-to-Market” excellence and sales effectiveness, bringing insights from his tenures at Mondelez, PepsiCo, and Britannia.

HCCB People, Culture, and Growth Strategy

In a significant homecoming, Ritesh Pratap Singh joins as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Ritesh, who previously served as CHRO at Tata Projects, returns to HCCB to spearhead a high-performance culture and leadership depth.

Additionally, Sunaina Dhanuka has been elevated to Head of Strategy while continuing her role as Chief of Staff to the CEO.

Sunaina’s background in finance and international operations at Unilever and Morgan Stanley will be pivotal in steering HCCB’s transformation agenda.
