AssetPlus appoints Mayank Kapoorr as Chief HR Officer

AssetPlus, a mutual fund distribution company, has appointed Mayank Kapoor as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Based in Chennai, he will lead the organization’s people strategy, focusing on building a high-performance culture, strengthening leadership capabilities, and developing scalable talent frameworks.

In his new role, Kapoor is expected to drive culture-led growth, enhance employee experience, and build future-ready talent capabilities to support AssetPlus’ next phase of expansion.

Extensive Experience

Mayank brings over two decades of rich experience across fintech, digital platforms, telecom, and learning ecosystems.

Prior to joining AssetPlus, he served as Global Head – People Success (CHRO) at M2P Fintech, where he led the global HR function across India, the Middle East, the US, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

At M2P, he was instrumental in driving organizational effectiveness, leadership development, workforce planning, and culture transformation for a rapidly expanding fintech platform.

Earlier, Mayank spent over six years at Freecharge as Head of Human Resources and Administration (CHRO), where he played a pivotal role in scaling the organization from 200 to 1,800 employees.

He partnered closely with leadership and the board on succession planning, executive compensation, and workforce strategy, while strengthening governance in a regulated financial environment.

His career also includes leadership roles at Snapdeal, Aircel, NIIT Limited, and IBM Daksh Business Process Services, where he built deep expertise in leadership development, capability building, and large-scale talent transformation.
