Rittal India Appoints Manjunath Karikatti as Sr. Director & HR Head – APAC

Rittal India, a leading German multinational and subsidiary of Rittal GmbH & Co. KG. has appointed Manjunath Karikatti as Senior Director & HR Head – APAC, effective February 2026.

In this role, Karikatti will lead workforce planning, leadership development, organization design, and culture building across APAC markets. He will work on building strong talent pipelines, improving succession plans, and creating a workplace culture that respects local needs while staying aligned with global standards.

Extensive Experience

Karikatti joins Rittal India from SKF India, where he served as General Manager – HR. He managed HR operations for six manufacturing plants, as well as purchasing and logistics teams, supporting more than 3,400 employees and workers.

He also led a major company demerger, handling restructuring and regulatory coordination to ensure smooth business operations. He has a strong track record in building leadership pipelines. He improved succession readiness for key leadership roles from 50 percent to 100 percent and set up structured leadership development programs.

Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Tata Motors and Federal-Mogul Powertrain, where he led large-scale HR change programs and employee engagement efforts.

Karikatti holds an MBA in HR and brings nearly 20 years of experience across manufacturing, automotive, and financial services.
