Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Appoints Nitin Selot as CFO

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has announced the appointment of Nitin Selot as its new Executive Director for Finance, IT, and Legal Affairs, effective 19 February 2026.

In this pivotal role, Nitin will serve as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), steering the Group’s financial strategy and digital transformation.

His appointment arrives as the company strengthens its “local-for-local” approach to solidify India as its most critical market outside Europe.

Nitin Selot’s Professional Journey and Educational Qualifications

Nitin Selot is a seasoned financial veteran with over 35 years of extensive leadership experience across diverse global industries.

Before joining SAVWIPL, he held senior executive positions at several high-profile organizations, including JCB India, Compass Group India, Shell, and Mars Wrigley.

His expertise spans strategic financial planning, regulatory governance, and complex IT transformations.

These skills make him uniquely qualified to lead the Group’s next phase of growth and operational resilience.

Nitin boasts a robust academic background tailored for corporate leadership.

He holds an A.C.M.A. from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India and an MBA in Finance from the prestigious Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad.

Additionally, he is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS).

This credential underscores his proficiency in legal and corporate governance matters.
