Titagarh Rail Systems Appoints Shrija Chandak as CHRO and CDO

Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has appointed Shrija Chandak as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Chief Digital Officer (CDO).

In this role, she will head both the HR and digital teams. She will connect people strategy with business goals, build strong leaders, and raise employee engagement across the company.

She will also lead digital systems and data use across functions. Her focus will be on streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and building digital skills to support the company’s growth plans.

Extensive Experience

She brings nearly two decades of experience in human resources. Before joining Titagarh Rail Systems Limited, Shrija served as Chief of HR and Digitization at Amrit Cement Limited for close to 15 years.

In that role, she led company-wide efforts across HR, business processes, and digital systems. She helped align people plans with business growth, improve operations, and support data-based decisions across the organization.

Earlier in her career, she worked at Aegis Global as Site Lead – Recruitment, where she managed large-scale hiring, academic partnerships, and performance systems. She began her professional journey at Genpact, building strong experience in talent management and HR operations.

Shrija completed the LEAD Programme at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She also holds an Executive Programme in General Management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Calcutta.
