TVS Motor Appoints Madhu Srivastava as President & Group Head – HR

TVS Motor Company, India’s third-largest two-wheeler manufacturer and a leading global automotive player, has appointed Madhu Srivastava as President and Group Head – Human Resources.

In this role, she will lead the company’s overall people and organisation strategy, overseeing talent management, leadership development, culture, and HR transformation initiatives across TVS Motor Company’s global operations.

Extensive Experience and Background

Madhu brings broad experience across natural resources, oil and gas, financial services, telecom, and manufacturing. Before joining TVS Motor Company, she was Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Vedanta Resources, a $25 billion multinational group with more than 100,000 employees worldwide.

At Vedanta, she helped shape the company’s people strategy and led large HR change efforts. Her work included managing major organization mergers after acquisitions, such as Cairn India. In these roles, she brought teams together, aligned HR systems, and built strong leadership talent in fast-growing and complex businesses.

An alumna of IIM Ahmedabad, she has previously held senior leadership roles at Citibank, Genpact, Reliance Communications, GE Capital, and Godrej, bringing strong experience in leadership development, talent acquisition, and building high-performance workplace cultures.

Chairman’s Statement

Commenting on the appointment, Sudarshan Venu, Chairman of TVS Motor Company, said the group is on a steady growth path with expanding operations across mobility, financial services, and real estate. He expressed confidence that Madhu will build on TVS’s long-standing values and trust while advancing the company’s people and leadership agenda in an increasingly competitive environment.

He also acknowledged the contribution of R Anandakrishnan, who is stepping down after an illustrious 38-year association with the TVS Group, played a pivotal role in building robust people systems and values-driven practices that have supported the group’s long-term growth.
