EduSkills Foundation, in collaboration with AICTE, has announced the launch of its latest virtual internship program titled “Arduino to AI: Embedded Intelligence Engineering (Cohort – 16).”

The initiative aims to equip students across India with future-ready skills in embedded systems and artificial intelligence. The internship begins immediately on April 2, 2026, and will run for a duration of two months.

Applications are open until April 30, 2026, with a total of 1,000 openings available for eligible candidates nationwide.

Focus on Industry-Relevant Skills

The Virtual Internship is designed to address the growing demand for professionals skilled in smart devices and intelligent systems. Through this internship, participants will gain hands-on exposure to microcontroller programming, sensor integration, and AI-based embedded solutions.

The curriculum bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications, enabling learners to build practical, intelligent hardware systems and prepare for careers in emerging technologies.

Eligibility and Participation Process

Students pursuing BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech, MCA, Diploma, or similar courses from institutions affiliated with EduSkills can apply. Notably, the program is open to students from all branches and academic years, provided they can commit to the full two-month duration.

The internship follows a structured process, starting with registration on the AICTE Internship Portal and the EduSkills platform. After enrollment, students receive course access and, upon completing the first week, become eligible for an offer letter.

Participants must complete all modules, assessments, and a final project within eight weeks under faculty guidance to qualify for certification.

Interested candidates can apply through the AICTE Internship portal.

Certification and Career Opportunities

Upon successful Virtual Internship completion, participants will receive a joint AICTE-EduSkills Internship Certificate. In addition to certification, the program offers potential hiring opportunities with global corporates, enhancing students’ employability in the competitive tech landscape.

With no stipend but valuable industry exposure and academic credits, the initiative reflects EduSkills Foundation’s commitment to building a skilled, industry-ready workforce for the future.
