Deloitte in India is on a significant hiring drive, with 1,450 roles currently open on its official website across the country.

This hiring push shows the firm’s confidence in India’s growth and its focus on building skills for the future across consulting, advisory, tax, audit, and business change services.

Over the next four to five years, Deloitte plans to add 40,000–50,000 professionals, further strengthening its already formidable talent base.

Ambitious Growth and Revenue Targets

Having crossed INR 10,000 crore in revenue in FY24, Deloitte has set an ambitious target of reaching INR 40,000 crore by 2030.

India already plays a pivotal role in Deloitte’s global operations, with over 120,000 employees, accounting for nearly 25% of the firm’s global workforce.

To support its growth trajectory, Deloitte aims to expand its footprint to 18–20 cities by the end of next year, deepening its presence beyond traditional metros.

Focus on Tier-2 and Tier-3 Cities

A key pillar of Deloitte’s strategy is its expansion into tier-2 and tier-3 cities, which are rapidly emerging as hubs of both business activity and skilled talent.

Under its Project Bharat initiative, Deloitte is strengthening its engagement with emerging economic centres across India.

While inaugurating its Indore Office, Nitin Kini, Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, Deloitte, said, “As part of our commitment to work with businesses from emerging Indian cities to achieve their full potential, we are expanding our presence to Indore, building on recent growth in Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar, and Lucknow.”

With this move, Deloitte now has a presence in 16 cities nationwide.

Indore Office: A Strategic Regional Hub

The newly launched Indore office will offer Deloitte’s full spectrum of services, including strategy, mergers and acquisitions, tax, risk advisory, assurance, and transformation.

The team will closely collaborate with family-run enterprises, MSMEs, investors, and public institutions, supporting regional growth and innovation. Target sectors include IT, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, textiles, and food processing.

“Indore’s mix of legacy industries and emerging sectors positions it as a high-growth, future-ready economy,” said Amit Jain, Lead Partner, Deloitte Indore. “Our focus will be on delivering customised solutions that help businesses navigate complexity, scale sustainably, and unlock long-term value.”
