Infosys Offers High Paying Specialist Roles in 2025 Mass Hiring

Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, has officially opened its doors for a large-scale off-campus recruitment drive targeting the 2025 graduating batch.
This “Mass Hiring” initiative identifies and onboards high-caliber technical talent for specialized roles.
These positions offer some of the most competitive entry-level salaries in the Indian IT sector.
Unlike traditional entry-level roles, this drive focuses on niche technical tracks including the Specialist Programmer (SP) and Digital Specialist Engineer (DSE) positions
Infosys Off-Campus Hiring: A New Tier of Entry-Level Compensation
The 2025 recruitment cycle marks a significant shift in Infosys’ hiring strategy, emphasizing “high-skill, high-pay” models to attract top-tier engineering talent.
The salary structure for this drive is categorized into distinct levels based on technical proficiency demonstrated during the assessment:
- Specialist Programmer L3 (Trainee): Offers an industry-leading package of ₹21 LPA.
- Specialist Programmer L2 (Trainee): Offered at ₹16 LPA.
- Specialist Programmer L1 (Trainee): Comes with a ₹10 LPA base plus a ₹1 Lakh joining bonus.
- Digital Specialist Engineer (Trainee): Provides a package of ₹6.25 LPA with an additional ₹75,000 joining bonus.
These roles are distinct from the standard Systems Engineer (SE) position, focusing instead on full-stack development, high-complexity coding, and the creation of scalable digital platforms.
Stringent Eligibility Criteria for Aspirants
To maintain a high standard of intake, Infosys has outlined specific academic and professional requirements.
Eligible candidates must belong to the 2025 passing-out batch (though some limited openings may extend to the 2024 batch).
Academic qualifications include a full-time degree in BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MCA, or MSc (5-year integrated).
Candidates are required to have a consistent academic record with at least 60% to 65% (or 6.0 to 6.5 CGPA) throughout their 10th standard, 12th standard, and graduation.
Furthermore, applicants must have no active backlogs at the time of application.
The drive is open to students from various branches, though special preference is given to Computer Science, Information Technology, and allied engineering disciplines.
The Multi-Stage Selection Process at Infosys
The recruitment process for these specialized roles is notoriously rigorous.
It begins with an Online Assessment that is significantly more difficult than the standard aptitude test.
For the Specialist Programmer track, candidates must solve three high-complexity coding problems within a three-hour window.
These problems typically cover advanced Data Structures, Algorithms, and Dynamic Programming.
Candidates who clear the online test proceed to the Technical Interview round.
Here, experts evaluate the candidate’s depth of knowledge in their preferred programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript), Database Management Systems (DBMS), and Operating Systems.
The final stage is the HR Interview, which assesses communication skills, cultural fit, and professional attitude.
How to Apply and Important Deadlines
Interested candidates must register through the official Infosys careers portal or the specific survey links provided to partner colleges.
The application process requires the submission of updated resumes and valid government ID proofs.
Due to the high volume of applicants, the company has issued specific technical advice to students.
They must ensure a stable internet connection and functional hardware for the online assessment phase.
The registration window for the current phase of the drive is expected to close on December 25, 2025.
Early registration is highly recommended to avoid technical delays as the deadline approaches.
