The programme will start on December 15 and run for 45 days. It is open to pre-final and final-year students pursuing B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related branches.

Final-year B.Sc (Computer Science/IT) students in relevant courses are also eligible.

The internship — hosted at the College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG) — is organised by the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Technology, and the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) cell.

According to the convener, V Mary Anita Rajam, the training aims to build a strong foundation in cyber-defence through structured coursework, guided tasks, and exposure to real-time security challenges.

Students will learn to analyse, detect, and mitigate cyber-attacks professionally.
