DRDO Launches Paid Internships at NSTL for Students, Apply by March 23

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has opened applications for internship positions at the Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL) in Visakhapatnam.

This internship gives engineering and science students a chance to gain practical experience in defence research and naval technology.

The program allows students to work in real-world research settings and learn from scientists developing technology for the Indian Navy.

About the DRDO NSTL Internship

NSTL is one of DRDO’s main laboratories. It works on research and development related to underwater weapons, naval systems, and similar technologies.

Through this internship, selected students may work on research tasks, technical studies, and lab projects. DRDO scientists will guide them during the work.

The program helps students see how engineering and science ideas are used in defence research.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who are currently studying the following courses can apply:

  • B.E. or B.Tech in related engineering fields
  • M.Sc in related science subjects

Applicants must study at a recognized university or institute and should have good academic records.

Stipend and Internship Duration

Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend as mentioned in the official notice. The length of the internship will depend on the project and approval from the laboratory.

This program gives students a good chance to gain research experience at one of India’s leading defence research organizations.
