DRDO Offers Internships: Engr & Sci Students, Apply by Dec 15
The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has opened applications for a new round of paid internships, offering a valuable hands-on research opportunity for engineering and science students across India.
The program is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students with a strong academic track record.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be pursuing a full-time Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering or Science from a recognized Indian university or institute. The age limit for eligibility is below 28 years.
- Undergraduate disciplines:
Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering - Postgraduate disciplines:
Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics
Students applying must possess a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA from AICTE/UGC-approved institutions.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their overall academic performance — considering CGPA/percentage across previous semesters — followed by an online or telephonic interview if required.
The selected students must clear document verification to finalize their internship offer.
Stipend Information
The internship period will span six months. The stipend will be provided only if the student maintains a minimum attendance of 15 working days per month at the lab.
- Stipend payment schedule:
- 1st installment: After the first 3 months
- 2nd installment: Upon successful completion of 6 months
