Infosys has started accepting applications for its global “InStep” Internship Program 2026. The program invites students from different fields to work on real business and tech projects.

A well-known global internship

Started in 1999, InStep has hosted thousands of interns from over 220 universities around the world. It is seen as one of the top global internship programs.

The InStep program has been ranked the No. 1 internship in the world by Vault Firsthand for five years in a row. This shows how popular and trusted it is among students and professionals.

Hands-on work experience

InStep is based on real projects. Interns work on tasks in areas like technology, analytics, consulting, and research. They get to work with global teams, interact with senior leaders, and understand real business problems.

The program also includes activities outside work. Interns can take part in cultural events, meet new people, and join hackathons and other idea-based events.

Flexible application timeline, Pay, and benefits

InStep does not follow a fixed schedule. Students can apply anytime during the year. Start dates are flexible and depend on project needs and the student’s academic calendar.

The program is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students from recognized institutions. Candidates are selected based on how well their skills and background match available projects.
