Six-Month Virtual Internship in Generative AI for Students and Early Career Professionals

SURE Trust has announced a six-month virtual internship focused on Generative AI. The program aims to help students and early career professionals build practical skills in one of the fastest-growing areas in technology.

The internship is open to eligible candidates across India and begins right away. Applications will remain open until September 5, 2026.

The program is meant to prepare students for industry work. It is open to third- and fourth-year B.Tech students, those studying or completing MCA, MBA, or other postgraduate programs, and research scholars who want to improve their knowledge in new technology areas.

Participants must have a laptop, stable internet access, and a strong commitment to regular learning.

Structured Learning and Industry-Focused Training

The internship runs for six months and has two main stages. The first four months focus on training in generative AI and related tools. During this stage, students will attend daily sessions from Monday to Saturday. Each session will last one hour and will take place between 6 PM and 10 PM, based on trainer availability.

The training is designed to match real industry needs. Students will learn how current AI tools are used in practical work. They will also complete mini projects and larger assignments during the training period so they can apply what they learn.

To keep the learning standard high, students must attend all sessions, keep their cameras on during classes, and submit project work on time. Performance will be measured through a structured grading system. Students must score at least a GPA of 4 to receive the course completion certificate.

Project Work and Mentor Support

After the training stage, students will move into a two-month project internship. During this period, there will be no daily classes. Instead, students will work on a capstone project with guidance from mentors.

Weekly review meetings will be held to check progress. Participants must also provide regular updates using the assigned reporting format.

Soft Skills and Personal Development

The program also focuses on personal growth. After completing the technical internship, all participants must attend a mandatory three-week Soft Skills Training program. In addition, Life Skills Training sessions will take place on alternate Sundays.

The internship is fully virtual. Participants will receive an internship completion certificate along with soft skills and life skills training. The program does not offer a monthly stipend.

Only 10 students will be selected for the internship. This small group size is meant to keep the training focused and effective for those who want to build careers in areas such as generative AI.

Through this program, SURE Trust aims to reduce the gap between academic study and industry needs, especially for students looking to improve their job prospects in the digital economy.
