UNIDO Offers Internship Programme in India : Apply by Dec 1
The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) has announced its Internship Programme in India, offering aspiring young professionals a chance to gain meaningful experience in international development.
The internship is based at the UNIDO Sub-Regional Office in New Delhi, supporting programmes across India and neighbouring South Asian countries.
This initiative aims to equip students and recent graduates with practical exposure to sustainable industrial development, research, and project management.
What the Internship Offers
Selected interns assist in project formulation, conduct research, prepare reports, support communications activities, and help monitor ongoing technical cooperation initiatives.
The programme provides a unique opportunity to engage with global development agendas, industrial policy frameworks, and multi-stakeholder collaboration at the UN level.
Requirements
- Candidates must be enrolled in a university programme (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) or have graduated within the past 12 months.
- Relevant fields include Economics, Business Administration, International Relations, Public Policy, or related areas.
- Strong command of English is mandatory; knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage for the India office.
- Applicants must be at least 20 years old at the start of the internship.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and interest in sustainable development.
