Virtual Internship in AI & Machine Learning, Apply by Nov 22

AICTE and SandSpace Technologies have announced a nationwide virtual internship program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), offering engineering students a practical gateway into one of the fastest-growing technology domains.

The two-month program, starting immediately, is open to candidates across India and aims to strengthen industry-oriented AI skills among young talent.

The internship provides a hands-on learning experience where participants will work on real-world assignments, including building basic prediction models, analysing datasets, and understanding how algorithms enable machines to learn from information.

Students will also work on simulated projects reflecting real industry applications such as face recognition systems, customer behaviour analytics, and chatbot development—skills that are increasingly sought after in sectors embracing digital transformation.

Guided by industry mentors, interns will gain practical exposure to how AI and ML are reshaping industries like healthcare, finance, retail, and transportation. The program is designed to help students understand not just theoretical concepts but also how these technologies solve real-world problems.

The virtual internship, which offers three academic credits, is open exclusively to students pursuing B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent qualifications. Applicants must be available for the full two-month duration and possess relevant technical skills and interest in AI and ML.

While the internship does not offer a stipend, SandSpace Technologies is providing a certificate of completion and an opportunity to work on meaningful, industry-relevant projects—an added advantage for students looking to build a strong foundation in emerging technologies.

With 10 openings available, students can apply until 22 November 2025. The program requires interns to follow the prescribed work schedule and maintain attendance as per guidelines.
