Deepak brings nearly three decades of distinguished experience in human resources across global technology and services firms.
This background provides the necessary leadership to drive organizational agility.
His mandate is to align the workforce with the company’s ambitious long-term growth trajectory by building future-ready talent pipelines, enhancing employee experience, and embedding a skills-based learning culture across the organization.
Professional Experience and Educational Qualifications
Deepak’s extensive career spans over 25 years, marked by successful HR leadership roles in complex, global environments.
Most recently, he completed an impactful tenure of over eleven years at Birlasoft, rising to the position of Senior Vice President and Global Leader for Talent Management and Corporate HR, where he spearheaded major global talent management and enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives.
Prior to this, he held significant senior roles at Cognizant. These included serving as Head of People Practice for BPO and later as Integration Manager for MarketRx.
He also held pivotal HR consulting and management positions at NCR Corporation, IBM Global Process Services, and Newgen Software Technologies.
His professional journey began around the year 2000.
Academically, Deepak is well-qualified, holding a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources (specifically, an MBA/PGDM from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies).
This is complemented by executive education credentials, notably the prestigious HR Business Leadership Program from Cornell University.
