Kajaria Ceramics Appoints Ashish Goel as Chief Human Resources Officer

Kajaria Ceramics has announced the appointment of Ashish Goel as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The Board approved his appointment through a circular resolution as part of an ongoing management restructuring aimed at strengthening leadership and organizational capabilities.
In his new role, Ashish will spearhead the company’s people and culture agenda, driving HR transformation and organizational design initiatives. He will focus on strengthening talent management, enhancing employee engagement, advancing diversity and inclusion efforts, and building future-ready capabilities aligned with the company’s strategic growth objectives.
Extensive Experience
Ashish brings over 30 years of rich strategic and operational HR experience across diverse, professionally managed organizations. His career reflects a strong blend of business alignment, people strategy, and execution excellence across industries.
Before joining Kajaria Ceramics, he served as Group CHRO at Essel Group, where he realigned HR strategy with evolving business priorities. He managed a workforce of over 3,000 employees across 250 locations nationwide.
At Essel Group, he led large-scale organizational transformation initiatives and drove cost optimization programs. He also spearheaded HR automation efforts and revamped the talent management framework to build a performance-oriented culture.
Over his distinguished career, Ashish has held senior leadership roles with Technicon Group, Vodafone, Hero Honda Group, CL Educate, MKM Group (Modi Rohm & Hass), and Gemini Group, contributing to strategic workforce and capability building.
He is widely recognized for designing HR strategies aligned with business objectives and translating vision into execution-driven processes. He holds an MBA in Personnel Management from the University of Pune and a B.A. (Honors) in English from Jamia Millia University, Delhi.
