Goodyear India Appoints Vishal Dhingra as South Asia HR Director

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company India has elevated Vishal Dhingra as Human Resources Director for South Asia, effective April 21, 2026.

He takes over from Abhishek Arora, who is leaving the company to look at other roles. In his new role, Dhingra will lead HR strategy for South Asia. His focus will be on building strong teams, growing talent, and supporting business goals in the region.

Extensive Experience and Background

Vishal has more than 20 years of experience in HR across manufacturing, FMCG, and healthcare. He joined Goodyear in 2020 and most recently worked as HR Director for the ASEANZ region in Singapore. Before that, he led HR for India, where he worked on talent plans, employee programs, and company-wide HR efforts.

Before Goodyear, he held senior roles at PepsiCo. There, he was HR Director for the India Supply Chain and also handled employee relations across Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. He worked on global human rights programs, improved labor relations, and supported leaders during times of change.

Earlier, he worked with GSK and Eicher Tractors. In these roles, he handled employee relations, HR plans, and large workforce operations, including union talks and plant HR work.

He started his career at Ballarpur Industries Limited, where he gained early experience in HR and talent management. Vishal Dhingra holds an MBA in HR from Panjab University and a BTech in Computer Science from Guru Nanak Dev University.
