KMPL Appoints Sandeep Rath as Head – HR

Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd. (KMPL), a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank, appoints Sandeep Rath as its new Head – Human Resources.

In this role, he will lead the company’s People and Culture agenda and oversee all HR functions across the organization.

Sharing his excitement on LinkedIn, Sandeep said, “I am excited to step into the role of Head – HR at KMPL. KMPL holds a special place in the Kotak journey—where it all began. I look forward to partnering with leaders and teams to enable growth through people.”

Professional Journey and Educational Qualifications

Sandeep Rath is an HR leader with over 13 years of experience in talent management, organization development, and HR change work.

Before joining KMPL, he served as Vice President, Senior Vice President, and then HR Lead at Kotak Mahindra Bank. He built and scaled HR plans to support large corporate and institutional lending teams.

His career includes senior HR roles at ICICI Bank, L&T Financial Services, and the Aditya Birla Group. Across these roles, he helped shape HR strategies for a wide range of businesses.

He led hiring and people development across multiple verticals and drove large organization restructure and integration efforts. His work supported business growth and steady leadership across complex setups.

Sandeep holds an MBA in Human Resources (PGDHRM) from the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon.
