Runu Jain joins Magic EdTech as Chief Human Resources Officer

Magic EdTech, the New York–based digital learning firm, has appointed Runu Jain as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates global expansion and scales its AI-driven education solutions.
The company said Runu will lead its global people strategy, overseeing talent development, organisational design, and culture across operations in the United States, India, the United Kingdom, and other international markets.
Runu brings over 25 years of experience in human resources leadership, having held senior roles at Birlasoft, IBM, Genpact, Federal Express, Amway and RPG Enterprises.
Her expertise spans workforce planning, leadership development, employee engagement, and large-scale culture transformation. In her new role, she will focus on building a robust global talent pipeline, strengthening leadership capability, and advancing initiatives around inclusion, engagement, and long-term career development.
Commenting on the appointment, Chief Executive Officer, Acky Kamdar, said that the company’s growth has been driven by strong learning outcomes and the people behind them, adding that a future-ready people strategy is critical for the next phase of expansion.
Runu Jain said she is joining Magic EdTech at a time when education and technology are converging rapidly. She noted that her priority will be to create an environment where employees can continuously build skills while contributing to meaningful and measurable learning outcomes for learners worldwide.
The leadership move also coincides with Magic EdTech marking 35 years in digital learning. The company has been expanding its international presence, opening new offices in locations such as London and Indore, and deepening partnerships with AI and cloud technology providers to support global clients.
