Texport Industries Names Shailendra as VP – People Management
Texport Industries, an apparel manufacturing and exporter, appoints Shailendra Koulaskar as Vice President- People Management.
In this role, he will oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle for a diverse workforce of more than 15,000 personnel.
His primary mandate includes driving digital HR transformation, fostering leadership development, and ensuring that Texport’s ethical manufacturing standards are upheld through robust employee engagement strategies.
Professional Experience and Educational Qualifications
Shailendra Koulaskar is a seasoned HR leader with over 25 years of experience spanning large-scale manufacturing and financial services sectors. He is known for building resilient people strategies in complex, labor-intensive environments.
Across his career, he has successfully led people operations for organizations employing up to 58,000 employees, demonstrating deep expertise in workforce governance, industrial relations, and large-scale HR operations.
Before joining Texport Industries, Shailendra served as General Manager – Human Resources at Gokaldas Exports Limited.
Earlier, he held senior leadership roles with HDFC Bank, Fincare Small Finance Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and GE Financial, gaining strong exposure to diverse business models.
Shailendra is widely recognized for HRMS implementation, HR digitalization, and strategic change management. He has built capability management systems that align workforce skills with technological evolution in the garment industry.
He holds a Master’s in Labour Welfare and diplomas in Human Resource Development.
