Newgen Software Appoints Kashish Kapoor as Global CHRO

Newgen Software has named Kashish Kapoor as its Global Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), starting April 2026.

In her role at Newgen Software, Kashish will lead global HR efforts, with focus on talent growth, employee experience, and flexible ways of working. Her experience in handling large-scale change and building inclusive teams will support the company’s growth plans.

Extensive Experience and Background

She brings rich experience in human resources, business change, and diversity work across global companies.

Before joining Newgen, Kashish was CHRO at NEC Corporation India Pvt Ltd., where she worked for close to nine years. In that role, she partnered with the CEO and senior leaders to shape HR plans, support global goals, and improve how the company operates. She also led key business change efforts, handled workforce planning, and helped set up shared services operations in India.

During her time there, she introduced global HR programs like “One NEC Way.” She also built strong talent systems, supported diversity and inclusion, and helped improve workplace culture across teams. Her work included setting up HR skill frameworks and leadership programs.

Earlier, Kashish held leadership roles at IBM Global Process Services, where she led diversity and inclusion efforts and received recognition from NASSCOM. She also worked with Cornell University as a Program Leader.

Previously, she has also been associated with ING Vysya Life Insurance and Oriflame India Pvt Ltd.
