Organised by the Skill Development Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Department, Government of Karnataka (SDEL) under the patronage of Honourable Minister Shri Sharanaprakash Rudrappa Patil, the Bengaluru Skill Summit it 2025 is envisioned as Karnataka’s premier platform for workforce development.
Scheduled on 5–6 November 2025 at The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru, the Summit will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, educators, global organisations, and youth to drive actionable strategies in reskilling, upskilling, digital transformation, and employability in emerging sectors.
The theme — “Workforce 2030: Scale, Systems, Synergy” — captures the essence of our mission.
Scale represents our commitment to expanding opportunities for all; Systems emphasise quality and institutional strength; and Synergy reflects our belief that real progress happens when government, industry, and academia work together.
Kaushalya Karnataka: Building the Foundation for Growth
The Summit is deeply aligned with the Chief Minister’s Kaushalya Karnataka Yojane, the flagship initiative of SDEL aimed at preparing youth for the future of work.
Through short-term training, upskilling, reskilling, and entrepreneurship support, the programme has empowered thousands of young people across sectors — especially those outside formal education systems.
By aligning with the National Skill Development Policy and fostering industry–academia partnerships, Karnataka has created one of India’s most inclusive and dynamic skill ecosystems.
