Lenovo launches LEAP Internship with 1,500 free seats

Lenovo has introduced the “Lenovo LEAP: NextGen Scholar Program” to help build strong tech skills among students in India. This internship program is part of the company’s CSR efforts and is offered free of cost. It is being run with support from BharatCares.

The program is open to students from Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh. It runs for six weeks between June and July and is fully online. Students will learn through a mix of self-paced lessons, live sessions with experts, and project work.

The course focuses on full stack development using the MERN stack. Students will work on both frontend and backend skills. They will also build web apps that use AI, helping them gain real work experience.

Along with technical training, the program also supports career growth. Students will get guidance from mentors and join sessions that help them prepare for jobs. Those who finish the course and pass the Skill India assessment will receive certificates from Lenovo and Skill India. They will also get a certificate from the All India Council for Technical Education.

Top students will get a chance to present their projects at a pitch event. They may also take part in the Lenovo LEAP Hackathon and attend job fairs.
