Abbott India Elevates Vinutha Mufti as Director – Business HR

Abbott India Limited, a leading name in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector, elevates Vinutha Mufti as Director – Business Human Resources, with effect from December 16, 2025.

She replaces Rajan Kalantre, who will take up another assignment within the Abbott Group after serving in this role until December 15, 2025, ensuring continuity and a smooth transition.

Extensive Experience and Background

Since joining Abbott in 2015, Vinutha has shown exemplary career ownership and accountability, rising through key leadership roles across the Nutrition and Pharmaceuticals businesses.

Her career has progressed from Senior Manager – BHR to Head – BHR, Associate Director – HR, and most recently Human Resources Director, reflecting strategic acumen, strong people insight, and an unwavering commitment to stakeholder partnership.

At Abbott, Vinutha brings in strong human resource foundations after her decade-long experience at IBM, where she led strategic talent initiatives, workforce engagement programs, and capability-building efforts across a diverse range of business verticals.

Her roles, including Sr. Manager HR – Sales Eminence, HR Business Partner – Sales, and Talent Manager, have underlined her ability to drive large-scale impact in complex, high-growth environments.

She also gathered valuable consulting experience with CHR Services Pvt. Ltd. while working on business process re-engineering projects for JK Tyres, JK Paper, and Sesa Goa.

Throughout her professional journey, Vinutha has demonstrated an excellent track record of leadership and accountability, championing organisational development while driving meaningful change in human resources and creating a culture of growth, empowerment, and performance.

She has an MBA in HR and Marketing from the Goa Institute of Management, a B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication from PCCE, Goa University, thus combining excellence in both technical and managerial fields.
