UPL Corporation Appoints Saurabh Bhasin as CHRO

UPL Corporation has elevated Saurabh Bhasin as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective April 2026.

In his new role, Saurabh will lead the company’s global HR strategy and oversee people and organizational initiatives across six geographical regions, supporting a workforce of over 4,500 employees worldwide.

Extensive Experience

A seasoned HR leader with twenty years of experience, Saurabh has skills in HR change, talent management, rewards, and organization design.

With over 10 years of association with UPL, he works with the CEO, Group CHRO, and senior leaders to link people plans with UPL’s growth goals, especially in its Global Crop Protection business.

He has spent ten years at UPL in roles across regions. He was HR Head for North America, Latin America, and Global R&D, leading HR for businesses tied to over $1.5 billion in revenue.

He worked with business and tech leaders to improve structure, raise efficiency, and support growth driven by ideas.

Earlier, he served as Region HR Head for North America and Global Total Rewards, and Global HR Head for Crop Protection HQ. He led work on mergers, leadership growth, and large organization redesign.

He helped lead talent and organization work during a major global acquisition. Before UPL, he worked at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Deloitte, and started at Idea Cellular.

He holds a PGDM from IMT Ghaziabad and a BTech from Punjabi University.
