Rustomjee Appoints Salil Chinchore as Group CHRO

Rustomjee, a prominent real estate developer and builder, has appointed Salil Chinchore as its Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In this role, he will lead the company’s HR plans, with a focus on talent growth, strong teams, and building a workforce ready for future needs as the company expands.

Extensive Experience

Salil has more than 30 years of experience in HR across sectors such as real estate, logistics, manufacturing, and industrial businesses.

Before this role, he worked as CHRO at ElasticRun from August 2022 to April 2026. There, he helped shape people strategy during a fast growth phase.

Earlier, he worked at Godrej Agrovet Limited as Head of Human Resources from 2017 to 2022. He managed HR and industrial relations and worked closely with senior leaders.

His work included talent planning, improving team strength, and aligning HR with business goals.

Before that, he held senior roles at Pidilite Industries Limited as President – HR, and at TE Connectivity as Director – Human Resources for India. At TE Connectivity, he handled HR for several business units and the shared services center.

Salil holds a Master’s in Personnel Management from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Fergusson College.

He was also named among the “Most Influential 100 HR Professionals in Asia” by the Asia Pacific HRM Congress in 2015.
