Spice Money Appoints Nitin Sachdeva as Chief Human Resources Officer

Spice Money, a leading rural fintech company in India, has appointed Nitin Sachdeva as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In this role, he will lead the company’s human resources function and oversee talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, performance management, and people strategy as the rural fintech company continues to expand its operations across India.
Extensive Experience
Nitin brings nearly 20 years of experience in human resources across fintech, consumer goods, media, banking, and technology sectors.
Before joining Spice Money, he was Head – HR Business Partnering at BharatPe, a position he held since June 2024. Earlier, he served as Director – Talent at BharatPe, where he led talent acquisition, talent management, and employer branding initiatives.

Prior to BharatPe, Nitin worked with Philips Domestic Appliances and Preethi Kitchen Appliances. He served as Associate Director – HR and HR Head for Preethi Kitchen Appliances, partnering with business leaders across manufacturing, commercial operations, innovation, and support functions.
He also managed HR operations and employee experience initiatives for both Philips and Preethi brands.
Earlier in his career, Nitin held several HR leadership roles at Philips, including HR Head, Learning Lead, HR Manager, and HR Business Partner. He also spent a brief period in Moscow as Senior Human Resources Manager.
Before that, he worked with CNN-News18, where he handled recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, training, and HR operations.

Nitin began his professional career as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys and later worked with UCO Bank. He holds a PGDM in Human Resources Management from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, New Delhi.
