Nagarro Appoints Bhagwat Kanodia as MD & Chief Accounting Officer

Nagarro has elevated Bhagwat Kanodia to Managing Director and Chief Accounting Officer from his most recent role as Partner and Director and Chief Accounting Officer.

In his new role, Bhagwat will continue to lead the company’s accounting and finance functions. His responsibilities are expected to include financial reporting, accounting standards, compliance, and financial controls.
Extensive Experience
Bhagwat brings around 30 years of experience in finance, accounting, auditing and financial reporting. He has been associated with Nagarro for over nine years, holding several finance leadership positions.
Before his latest elevation, he served as Partner and Director and Chief Accounting Officer. Earlier, he held the position of Chief Accounting Officer and worked as Director Finance, a role he held for over six years.

Before joining Nagarro, Bhagwat spent around 15 years with Ernst & Young (EY), working in India and Kuwait. He served as Manager and handled statutory audits across several industries, including automotive, hospitality, banking, investment companies, FMCG, manufacturing and services.
His experience includes Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS). He also worked on audit planning, financial analysis, risk assessment, resource management and internal controls.
Kanodia is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from AICPA and an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
